Do you like the idea of a hybrid supercar enough to actually buy one? Personally I wouldn't. Supercars are made to go fast, not save the planet. In my opinion it kind of defeats the whole purpose of the car by weighing it down with batteries and motors. Most of them are rarely driven and their production numbers are limited so the environmental effect of them is basically zero. I have feelings the hybrid systems on these cars will not be the most reliable as they age and in 15 years they will undoubtedly be completely dated as well.

I would not buy one, ever. As you said, the battery systems weigh it down greatly. Plus, they by no means help the price. To make matters worse, all of those helpful batteries will go flat in a matter years. It's a waste of money and time.

Depends on the power output. If they all put out numbers like the 918 or the LaFerrari, I'm in.

I would have an Enzo over a F70 and a Carrera GT over a 918.

I agree. The new cars really are a bit disappointing compared to their predecessors.

I agree with you there, solely for the facts that the Carrera GT is one if my favourite cars ever and the second supercar I ever got a ride in was an Enzo haha.

I would HATE to own a 200+ mph car and have to say its a hybrid, it's sacrilegious. But if thats what our world is coming to, we really wont have much of a choice.

We can still buy the old ones. I don't like very many new exotics.

Well, our world is full of a bunch of environmentalist hippies who blame all of the climate problems on humans, not taking into account the fact that the earth's temperature cycles have been accurately studied for only a few hundred years.

Very. I can't believe we have let our world get to this point where it is being governed by morons.

Studies have shown that it takes years to earn back the money lost from the price premium at the pump.

A hybrid supercar, as in like a Hybrid Veyron, or Agera, or Huyara? Then no way.

However, I would buy a hybrid such as a Fisker Karma, or a Chevy Volt.
