I don't really ever post M5's and M6's but I consider them exotics.

Pretty sure the official name is 1-Series M Coupe. Maybe we should all say that from now on so people don't get 1M confused with M1.

How can someone say, in the same post, that an M3 is not an exotic, and that the 1-series M is an exotic?

It's exotic because the 1-Series M has a small deficit in horsepower, and.. oh, right, 800 were made.

I consider the E60 and F10 M5s to be exotic, and the M6s are. I think the BMW X5 M can be debated though.

800 made? Umm what? There's over 6 000 1-series M's made. And at least in Europe, you can buy one used under 50k EUR. About the same price as equal used M3. But yeah there's a lot more M3's made obviously, I get that. But I'd still say just because there's so few made (in the thousands though in this case...) doesn't make a car necessarily exotic. For example, does someone consider the newest (and already discontinued, because of Saab's bankruptcy) Saab 9-5 an exotic, since it has been made about the same amount as the 1-series M? I don't think so.

Well this again leads us to the location debate. In the US...the 1M is extremely rare....but is it exotic? Hmmmm.....I have posted 2 so I guess I'm out of this one.
